Toyota Motor Thailand (Toyota Gateway Plant) Wins 3 awards At “The Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2024”
ThailandToyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. was honored with three distinguished awards at the Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2024, recognizing the “Toyota Gateway Plant, Chachoengsao Province” for its remarkable excellence. The awards included “The Prime Minister’s Best Industry Award 2024”, “The Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2024: Manufacturing & Service of the Future” and the special “MIND (Ministry of Industry) Ambassador Award”. On this occasion, Mr. Akio Toyoda, Chairman of Toyota Motor Corporation, together with Mr. Kalin Sarasin, Chairman of Toyota Motor Thailand, Mr.Noriaki Yamashita, President of Toyota Motor Thailand, and other top executives represented the company to receive the awards. The Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2024 ceremony was presided over by Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who graciously attended the event organized by the Ministry of Industry at Santimaitri Building, Royal Thai Government House, on 18 December 2024.
The Prime Minister's Industry Award 2024 recognizes companies and organizations that demonstrate exceptional excellence in enhancing productivity, quality, safety, environmental and energy conservation, logistics and supply chain management, manufacturing and service of the future, social responsibility, circular economy, and development of innovations that contribute to the overall advancement of Thailand’s industrial sector.
This year, the recipient of The Prime Minister's Best Industry Award 2024 is Toyota Motor Thailand (Toyota Gateway Plant). This prestigious accolade was presented to the company for its outstanding achievements, having acquired the Prime Minister’s Industry Awards in no fewer than three categories*. In addition, Toyota Motor Thailand has consistently demonstrated its unwavering commitment to developing its competitiveness to be on par with the international manufacturing standards. The company was also honored with The Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2024: Manufacturing & Service of the Future.
Furthermore, Toyota Motor Thailand (Toyota Gateway Plant), as the proud recipient of this year’s Prime Minister’s Best Industry Award, was also honored with the special MIND (Ministry of Industry) Ambassador Award. This accolade designates the company as a representative of the Ministry of Industry from the private sector to act as a role model for enhancing industrial competitiveness and nurturing sustainable development alongside the communities. Moreover, in this role, the company will serve as the central agency for coordinating joint efforts to promote a positive image through a wide variety of collaborative projects and initiatives, as well as supporting the effective communication of news, information, and services provided by all units and agencies under the Ministry of Industry.
This recognition clearly reflects the exemplary excellence in the management of Toyota Motor Thailand (Toyota Gateway Plant) in all aspects, as well as its mastery in the smart application of technologies across the value chain.
